    Automatic and robotic quadricopter

I'll give you a link to a calculator for quadcopters, when I get back I am on my phone right now. But being able to actually fly that far is really a job for a plane, thouh a bigger quadcopternhas a better flight time than a smaller one. Thouh you could not operate a bigger quad in an enclosed...

    Automatic and robotic quadricopter

Here is a better module. This is a 1W (1000mW) Ground station less cost if crash (Much of expensive stuff is on the ground) longer flight time maybe easier Everything On "Drone" No loss of control signal there are a few other things I did think of but I can't remember them haha

    Toy RTF

If you have build and have all of the parts you could get one together in 15-25 minutes. For you it may be longer, and you can only work as fast as you can get the parts. As for price it really depends, the answer is sometimes yes, ans sometimes no. Take a look at a guide I am working...

Interesting, that is not usually a setting. Are your props balanced?

    QUESTION ABOUT 350QX ESC

Sounds like Neil said a transistor may be going bad. open it up and see if one in particular is getting hotter, and check for cracks in the silicone and the solder.

Do those have aluminium cooling blocks to go on the FETs?

    need advice

Never seen the modular ones, sounds like a good idea, I was going to plan, solder, and etch my ESCs just for the fun factor, but I found that I did not want to need custom firmware. I still may do that and make my own "modular" ESCs haha. I'd just use the same chip as many other ESCs.

Probably the flight controller to blame for instability at the moment, do you know how to adjust the self level gains?

    How are you arming it?

    Automatic and robotic quadricopter

Cost is dependant, I can get you a price when we figure exactly how to make it work with a PC. As for size, take a look at this video, he is using an [Orange] LRS, [Orange] being the company. Here is the transmitter module. Here is the receiver. You may have to get a tx to run the...

    Sounds really cool haha.

Interesting new high end toy hex

Yeah, it does blur the lines a bit, but as it does not have ESCs and uses a proprietary board it would probably be non-hobby/non-toy-either?

    Automatic and robotic quadricopter

Well yes you could get 20km with a LRS and external antenna, you would have to minimize sensors and just use video but your quadcopter will never be able to get that far, and especially back, in such a case that this is what you need you may want to make a quad that can convert to a plane once...

Interesting new high end toy hex

Haha, this is a great little hex, it has some features that are not usually on most toy grade mutirotors, also looks like it may have geared, or brushless. That guy makes even the simple features sound futuristic haha.
