My beef with an all aluminum quad is not the strength but the vibration problems. Aluminum has what I call " sympathetic" vibration qualities. Say you have a out of balance motor. Aluminum will transfer that exact vibration frequency down the arm and into the frame and finally into various...

If your charger has a 1s setting then by all means use it. Neither of mine do. A USB charger gives you great portability. You can charge from your car, laptop or any computer. With a pigtail you can charge several 500mah 1s lipo's in about 30 minutes. That's why I use them.
