What is BEST Quad for my needs?

I think water footage is the best! As GJH recommended I think water proofing would be a necessity. I am planning on adding floats to mine like the ones attached to this one. (Cheap effective floats lol) I do water footage all of the time with mine. Its a custom built 500mm. If your...

Ir really APM 2.8 much worse then Naza V2 +GPS

I don't know much about the APM fcs, but you could get a Naza lite and flash it with the v2 firmware, and save a little money. Hopefully someone else has some experience with the APM and will chime in.

The one I ordered had a plate attached. I figure I would have to build something to mount it. I am going to check the lcd out. Thanks for the info!

Quad that can carry a go pro.

I am guessing that you would need different electronics to stay issue free with a 250. You could get the 200 for now, and then slowly purchase the parts to build a 250. You may want to invest in a good radio that will bnf to the 200 that you will be able to use down the road if you do decide to...

Quad that can carry a go pro.

Depends on the flight controller you get. I use clean flight or base flight for the naze32 controllers.

Quad that can carry a go pro.

For most there will be configuration to do on the computer. I think there are flight controllers that are configurable with out a computer. I think the kk2 is one.

Quad that can carry a go pro.

Not sure about rtf. Maybe a blade 200qx? The kits are not to difficult to assemble, and I think they will offer a higher level of flexibility.

Quad that can carry a go pro.

A 250 and up will easily carry a go pro and FPV eqiupment. There all kinds of sizes on eBay in your budget range.(search for quadcopter kit) A gimbal helps tremendously with video, but you will need a larger quad to carry one. You can start with the less expensive stuff, but if you enjoy it...
