To fly or not to fly: How flying quadcopters can get you into legal trouble - Economic Times

personally, I never fly my units over Pakistan. seriously, I've heard it said that some countries have the philosophy that 'you can do whatever you want unless we ban it', and some places say 'you can't do anything without permission'. always check your local regs. thanks for linque.

    tree vs quadcopter

one of mine impacted a tree so bad it knocked out one of the little white pinion gears. easy fix, and cheap, but had to wait a week for parts. worse was that it fell out of the tree into a puddle. I dried it good and it works okay. at least you recovered yours. My first unit is still in a...

Can't seem to get it off the ground, NEED HELP........

check the propeller orientation. one of mine did that because I put two of the props in backwards. there should be two clockwise and two counter. ditto the motors, two clockwise and two counter. that's the easy fix. more complicated would be one or two underpowered motors. keep us posted.

    Syma first flight

I've been flying for a couple months and I'm still hitting dirt too! keeping oriented when I rotate is definitely the hardest thing for me. I flew several times before trying to photo anything. (is that a converted gas station? looks like an old air compressor unit on the side)
