Turnigy 9Xr is good but if you think you are going to do long range I suggest you get either a Turnigy 9XR pro or Spektruim Dx7. Your battery could be a bit bigger if you wished, and if you are buying from HK be sure to buy from the closest warehouse.

Oh hahahaha. That is your problem, most props are not reversable as they flex too much, also you need two CW and two CCW props arranged like the image below. If your motor spins the wrong way just switch any of two of the three wires between the motor and ESC.

Looks like an unnecessarily heavy frame. In a crash you usually have a bit of forward momentum so unless you are doing a EDF H.A.L frame then there is a lot of unnecessary weight. With those motors there is very little chance of you getting it off the ground with a 5000mAh battery. I...
