Then I took the gimbal protector off .... Mike, I smiled when I read that. Something I would do haha. But as you may have noticed the gimbal goes through some gyrations on startup. And you were of course preventing that. ' ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

I hear you. I have posted several times on here and other forums that "we" will kill the hobby. If you cant use common sense and self control to not fly into a forest fire with aircraft all around you, we are doomed. I have seen it happen in other hobbies. 4X4 off roading, dirt bikes, etc...

Kudos to you on the Helicopters. If you flew them I am jealous. RC or full scale ;) I built an RC one many years ago. Got to the point I could get it up and hover and fly for very short distance. Then said this is no fun! Too stressful. Sold I am glad the Army turned me down for Flight School...

Is the AMA doing anything in this direction? I used to be a member many years ago, BD I know they accept "drone" hobbyist", but have a feeling that the Old RC school of thought frowns on Drones. Although that's a guess on my part. I have not checked. I'm sure everyone here agrees with you in...
