    Syma X8C ordered.

Im a bit disgruntled at how amazon is treating my order. 1.) It showed 8 items in stock. 2.) Once it was ordered i was never provided me with an estimated shipping date and it still doesnt show an estimated delivery date nor has it been shipped. 3.) I send an email to customer service and the...

    yay!

Some show a red light then turn off after charging and some show the light after its charged which is the case with the U807 charger...you will see the red light on when its done charging.

    Syma X5C-1 Modifications thread

Ok guys, ive done this update mod and i suppose i was a bit optimistic as to how much weight it would remove...No matter what the amount, it is weight loss and it all adds up..I cut off half of the landing pads for a weight savings of .4g I suppose you could cut the entire landing pad off but i...

    yay!

Yea..the toy quads arent near as powerful as brushless quads but even still you need to be aware of wind conditions...What we feel on the ground doesnt mean whats up 25 ft or higher isnt double or even triple the mph.....You can lose a hobby grade quad from winds as well...Conditions are...

    yay!

If you bought it from the USA warehouse ,7 days seems to be about how long it takes for full delivery...Ive ordered quite a few things from the USA warehouse ..none has taken longer than 7 days...I just wish they would stock more popular quads. The U807 is slightly heavier than the x5 and has...

    Syma X5C-1 Modifications thread

Yea, im not sure how much the velcro would weigh..i really wouldnt want to invest in velcro having to rip it off every time i wanted to pull out the battery...I would probably just keep the battery door.

    Syma X5C-1 Modifications thread

Ive found another area to shed more weight..ill add it to the stage 1 section once its done...Not sure how much weight it will be but it should help and its very easy to do...Maybe another gram or better.

Syma X5HC With 2MP HD Camera

RTF means ready to fly BNF means bind n fly. The controller has an auto flip function you wont want so its a waste of money to get the controller you wont use any...The X6 controller will allow full performance from the flight board without the annoying flip at full throttle. I have to leave...

Syma X5HC With 2MP HD Camera

You dont want the RTF version...the controller is garbage..it has an automatic flip built into the throttle and this is what people dont like about it. Look for one at Gearbest...they are like $12.49 for the quad and yes it is a very small quad but with a very capable flight board you can use...

    Syma X5C-1 Modifications thread

I suppose an option if you arent using your camera...Using the stock camera in the stock mounting location will require the battery cover ,of course and ,landing skids so, this is weight you cant get away from unless you install the camera inside the body shell. Im sort of re thinking against...

Updated and re wrote stage 1 mod....it seems to repeat a little of what i typed afterwards in threads below it...Just ignore it..haha

Syma X5HC With 2MP HD Camera

Yea...when the x5 or any quad for that matter becomes easy to fly and gets boring its pretty much time to step it up. If you want a quick little quad check out the JJRC 1000 and use a Tarantula X6 transmitter to fly it...In 100% rate mode, its just an insane little quad...in 60% its just about...

UK FPV, how do you get through trees

That uhf gear is expensive...Would be nice though.

UK FPV, how do you get through trees

Its been my understanding 5.8g is more for open areas and 1.2g is capable of penetrating objects and maintaining your signal through walls, thick brush and trees.

XK X251 & XK X252 FPV Brushless Quad: Flight Video Clips And Real Shot Photos

I think they will be good sellers.

    FPV on my MJX X101

Its the yellow and black wires you need to short for 3 seconds to start recording...short for 1 second turns it off...Most are using micro momentary switches mounted to the camera case to start and stop video quickly...Its really only plug and play for syma models. My Nihui u807 uses a 4 plug...

Syma X5HC With 2MP HD Camera

Larger motors can make a quad faster as long as you have a flight board that can take advantage of it...The Syma X5 board variations arent considered very aggressive with pitch programming....I think syma went with an 8x16mm motor to increase torque more so than speed..The S model uses a much...

Syma X8C Fast Blinking Lights and Controller won’t Bind

Looks as if youve done everything but actually re-calibrate the board..The binding process and it being on a level surface is not re-calibrating...Thats binding. The quad losing power slowly than stopping was an indication of low voltage from the battery which the board is designed to detect...

    FPV on my MJX X101

Be sure the kit has a compatible plug to work with the MJX camera board plug...Some are 3 pin....some require 4 pin...The syma /jjrc fpv does not work on every fpv capable toy quad.

    New Mini Hybrid build.

I made a slight change with the motor holders...All im waiting for now is the Bayang X9 FCB to show up. Im at 19.7g with the frame and motor assemblies..The battery and beetle canopy adds another 9.1 grams for a total so far of 28.8g
