    Video about privacy and drones.

I know this has been bandied about on here ad nauseum. This video is probably more suited for giving to someone who has "worries" about being spied on with a drone. So, if you know any drone paranoids. Here you go. The video does make 2 good points at the end. Most people worry...

    Quads can now call home...

I'm assuming that the idea is the ability to control and receive telemetry across the cell phone network. So theoretically you can control your quad in Florida from Montana. Probably not for us mere mortals. Non 107.

DJI Spark: Stymied by a QR code...

P3S does not have that capability. Wish it did!

DJI Spark: Stymied by a QR code...

Not sure if you meant that question for me.? The P3S does not use a cable between the controller and device.

    Quads can now call home...

Haha but seriously. "Cellular-connected drones arriving fast: More than 13 percent of drones will support embedded SIMs and advanced cellular connectivity by 2022 globally, a new report has said. Cellular connectivity would help in remote identification, tracking flight path and supporting law...

DJI Spark: Stymied by a QR code...

Again, its been a while. But if your trying to activate the device you need internet access. So on your home WiFi. Also, I think you still need an Account with DJI. Someone should jump in here who is more adept. :D

DJI Spark: Stymied by a QR code...

I am assuming park-RD-adbae2. is your internet connection? Been awhile since I did this. But have you registered on line at the DJI web site? Created an "account". If memory serves me right (and a lot of times it does not haha) you need that first. If not, I am sure someone will jump in here and...

    Help required please

In the first picture it appears to be canted to the 5 o'clock position. Just slightly. Not sure what that indicates. Gear mesh problem??

Hardware inquiry for a long battery time drone with quality camera

One of the issues I had was a build up of a static charge on the antenna wire. Radios don't like that much. That was fixable. The other was the bigger I made the balloon ( I wanted more wire up), the more it wanted to present wind resistance and head towards the horizontal. Unless it...

Hardware inquiry for a long battery time drone with quality camera

I have actually used a military surplus weather balloon to hoist an antenna up in the air. There were issues.....but it did work. Only limited by our imagination

    Dancing quads

I am assuming the technology is the same as the recent wave of "drone"fireworks" Even the military got involved. All computer controlled centrally.

Mavic Pro Clone? for under $100 hmmmmm??

I probably did......ughh I have made some changes to my posting. I have been guilty of muddying the waters.....Duh. The Quad in question appears almost exactly like a MAVIC..to me......so it is a "lookalike" Buttt it appears to me to have almost all the features. So somewhat of a "clone" The...

Mavic Pro Clone? for under $100 hmmmmm??

Anyway, that clears it up for me:p Notice the screen on the controller. I still cannot find a "clone" (using that term loosely) that looks like the one in question.
