This could be due to the fc noticing it is not gaining altitude? Do you have a video?

It will loose signal if you are too close like in the house checking settings, and such. Is it doing this while flying outside? I have never flown any of my dji aircraft without a device so I am not sure on that one.

I would probably get the qx95 so you would not have to look at motors while flying, and the qx105 was lacking power in a video I just watched.

Good question. The dji aircraft are fairly easy to fly, but not cheap so I would buy a cheap one to learn how the controls make the quad respond. Go with DJI as they have the best cameras. If the budget is right go with the phantom 4 pro as it has a 1 inch sensor, and the camera settings can...

The newer DJI drones use visioning positioning sensors indoors so it holds position just as good as gps outdoors. The DJI phantom 4 pro would probably suit your needs. I am right above you in Chattanooga TN.
