    getting into fpv

Thank you I'll try exercises and velocidrone, then I think next steps will be fpv angle and then fpv acro. From your experience on average how many batteries will it take between these steps? Anyway good to have a more powerful VTX. The EV100 seems to be a good for beginners, unfortunately they...

    getting into fpv

After first difficult attempts in and out home I finally I went to an open space and I flew 3 times the battery in angle mode not fpv, a bit difficult to see how it is oriented when far away and if because of this I make a mistake sometimes I overdo with the throttle and then it is difficult to...

    getting into fpv

I did it with a screwdriver, the HM600 VTX is better than the VTX625? and what other receiver do you recommend me with the Turnigy Evolution PRO?

    getting into fpv

Guys I need your help... I finally received the Explorer but with the HM600 VTX instead of the VTX625 and should be good because it is more powerful (600mW vs 450mW) but I can't connect the antenna, am I stupid or is the connector wrong? https://flywoo.net/products/goku-hm600-vtx-600mw...

    getting into fpv

which inexpensive antennas would you reccomend me? banggood says ROTG02 has diversity but I think it has only one receiver anyway upgrading two antennas instead of one is better right? in the explorer specs I read ESC Continuous current: 13A, so what would be a safe discharge rate?

Well maybe it just rings in background or I could use one without sim

    getting into fpv

this is good news, with $25 plus maybe $10 for antennas upgrade I could start fpv, having ready to share dvr on the smartphone

    getting into fpv

Take a look here at 09:23 maybe with your goggles experience you can tell me how does latency seem to you, should not be far from fpv digital systems

    getting into fpv

I have... only 3 questions Ok number 1 it should be mounting his FlySky receiver Number 3 maybe mounting a lighter battery What about number 2? Signal is transmitted via radio and the latency due to the analog to digital conversion should be low, not optimal but flyable I think, I could upgrade...

    getting into fpv

Hi, I'm getting into fpv and I have some questions, I only flew 100% self-built unstable monstrous drones so I'm not worried about flying fpv difficulty, also I'm not interested in freestyle racing but instead in cinematic cruising. I like the Flywoo Explorer LR 4", but because budget is a...

1 brand new motor is noisier than the others

I hope you are right, later I'll test if it overheats

1 brand new motor is noisier than the others

I'll try to see if it overheats, otherwise I'll try to fly. my concern is that it will seize up crashing my quad. maybe getting consumed where there is friction the noise will disappear? I asked the seller even if it is been a while from when I bought it to when I tested it, I'll probably buy a...

1 brand new motor is noisier than the others

I tested my brand new motors and as you can see the second in the video is noisier than the others, is that normal? I tried swapping it to anoter ESC with the same result turning it by hand feels the same compared to the others, maybe a little bit more jerky, but it is probably just an...

    building Li-Ion battery pack

wanting to keep the budget low I prefer to build an efficient drone instead of buying more batteries, and having low throttle hover means also having power for a versatile quad. I'd like to bring it on motorbike holidays to record videos. still not sure about storage differences from LiPos.

    building Li-Ion battery pack

I'll use only that battery so I'll keep it always inside the arms that can be disassembled.

    building Li-Ion battery pack

I'll post a simulation of the connections before starting solder. the gain would be in dimensions, weight and safe. I wouldn't need a support and a case for the battery. my goal is a drone easy to disassemble and compact for portability.

    building Li-Ion battery pack

the reason of this arrangement is that I want to put the cells inside the arms stacked on top of each other. and I think this is the way which allows me to use the shortest wires length. I'll buy a single cell charger to full charge every cell before solder so that they have all the same...

    building Li-Ion battery pack

I think this is the best schema to use, is it right? do I need to isolate for example the positive and negative terminals of the 2 bottom left cells I circled? maybe on longest wires I should use lower AWG to lower the resistance. why the cells voltage should be as close as possible if then I...

    building Li-Ion battery pack

Of course this is in theory, if the ampacity in the table is the continuous ampacity, 16AWG should handle the quadcopter's maximum draw of 30A continuously without overheating, but being a selfbuilt battery I'll check it 10 times before taking off... in the past I had problems with a Turnigy 4S...
