    Second hand drones

Refurbished might be a better choice. You get some warranty at least. And hate to say this buttttt. Some people are very proud of their used stuff:p

    Urgent Advice

The battery charger is proprietary. Most of the range extenders help, all things being equal. Yes GPS. FPV quality depends on the device you use. But can be excellent. I have had a P3S for several years. It's great for my casual purposes. The newer Phantoms are more advanced in GPS, Distance...

Panic and a Senior Moment- Next Drone?

The batteries are made to fit. Special connector etc. Not to say you could not rig something up, but you probably should not. There are aftermarket batteries sold. The reviews are not all good. So beware. I would not worry about additional batteries. Just yet. 20 to 25 minutes of white...

Retrieving An Aircraft From A Tree

I use one of these for getting stuff into or out of trees. Like Christmas Decorations, antennas, quads etc. I can shoot way over 75 foot pines with accuracy. Tennis ball and fish line. Up up and away!

Panic and a Senior Moment- Next Drone?

I agree, a great choice. DJI is the standard for consumer drones. They have problems like everyone else to some degree. And you can hear horror stories all day long. But, DJI is the way to go. Have fun and enjoy!

The Red and Green LED Lights

Ahh yes, you would know front from rear. If I know my left and my right, I know my front and rear automatically. Same thing applies to boats. And assigns the "right-of-way" Also, to each his own. But, when the quad is on the ground. It always faces away from me. And any calibration status...
