    Camera upgrade

Perhaps, but it could really be just about anything ... lol ... might be just a plug and play swap, might be impossible

    Camera upgrade

It might be as simple as buying a better camera then just plugging it in and being good to go, but more information is needed first.

    Eachine minicube solder bridges

 ... I'd definitely fix that before I powered it up !! That's so bad it almost looks intentional but, as shown here, there should NOT be any bridge there. http://files.banggood.com/2016/12/MiniCube%20F3%206DOF%20integrate%20OSD%20Manual.pdf

Holystone Quadcopter will not pair. No wifi signal

Never even seen a multimeter for $4 before ... smh... all I can say about THAT is you probably get what you pay for. These bat monitors are dedicated to doing one thing, measuring DC voltage to one hundredth of a volt and they do it well. I've checked them against my NIST certified $500 meters...

Searching For My First Hobby Grade!!!

 ... Yeah ... What they said ... lol Without necessarily needing to know what it is, or why, THESE are the things you want to see in your choices: SBUS (receiver)... simplifies wiring and is cleaner/faster electronically DSHOT (ESCs)... cleaner/faster electronically and no...

Holystone Quadcopter will not pair. No wifi signal

Could be any number of things wrong in this scenario. Could be a power problem as discussed, or the quad's tx could be dead, or could even be an app compatibility problem. Download any free general purpose WiFi checker app onto your phone and look at what it's "seeing" before and after you turn...

Holystone Quadcopter will not pair. No wifi signal

You keep charging and using a 4S with a bad cell and you're just asking for trouble. I'd just remove the bad cell completely and use the pack as a 3S ... btw, it's better to run a good 3S than a 4s with a bad cell :D

Holystone Quadcopter will not pair. No wifi signal

Those little monitor/buzzer gadgets will read toy grade single cells and usually go all the way up to eight cell packs too, they are also very accurate. While I agree a multimeter is a worthwhile investment, the only function typically used would be the DC voltage selection and you can get a...

Holystone Quadcopter will not pair. No wifi signal

Yep, or at the very least one of those $2 battery monitor/buzzer gadgets. I strongly recommend that no one should ever fly without one of those anyway, unless you've got telemetry.

    Batteries for controllers

 ... Yeah, what Jackson said. Hobby grade controllers have additional circuitry that toy grade ones usually don't, so a toy without regulation may suffer range loss from low bats. Regulation maintains the same signal strength regardless of battery condition (until the low bat threshold...

    Down draft

Depends upon a lot of factors, primarily the type of quad (lightweight toy vs a much heavier racer), the type of props used (larger props spinning slower vs smaller props spinning faster, also the prop's pitch too) but generally speaking YES you WILL feel a breeze, especially underneath it, but...

    Quadcopter stability (quantitative)

o_O .... Ummmm, I sincerely doubt it. Even with a SUPER precise position monitoring system in place (either a home-brewed error correcting ultrasonic/infrared hybrid comes to mind, or you'd maybe want to purchase an off the shelf LIDAR system(s)) AND some how interface it with high end racing...

    Sunnysky x2204 1480kv question.

But on a smaller prop .... It's an interesting question though, one could assume a smaller prop with higher pitch might be roughly equivalent to a larger prop with less pitch but, of course, it's never quite that simple.

    Looking to build first quad

That kit doesn't really offer much of anything in terms of savings. "Get FPV" has that FC (Flyduino) for $35, those ESCs for $22 each, and the motors for $26 each, which totals to $147. But the QUALITY IS THERE (although I'd personally prefer a different controller myself). Those Lumineer...

    Need Help

 ... You cannot normally just run any 3.3vdc MCU or CPU on 5vdc and expect proper scalar functionality even if it and other parts can accept the higher voltage. If it doesn't just fry parts, internal clocks (including the WDT) as well as any other pulse parameters, peripheral controls...

    help needed with drone.

There's not much info on anything made by "RDM Creations" to be found (I did see that Ideal World still sells them for 250 GBP) but you can still try the usual approach: Disassemble the quad enough to access the main board inside then switch the connections for the motors. If the previously...
