Help. I made a dumb mistake!! Need a controller for Eachine M80.

Now is where the learning curve begins as you learn how to set up a hobby grade quadcopter. The steps are as follows: 1. Bind your reciever to your transmitter. Check youtube for binding spektrum, sorry I'm not familiar with that protocol. 2. Install the betaflight interface on your computer...

This is what the swiss call a drone

The danger is very real, I've heard about a guy who killed himself accidentally with his RC heli.

I just wonder to know the type of the drone

I believe it's called an "octocopter" since it has 8 motors.

Quad Wont get off the Ground, Topples to The Side

Yeah I didn't get much schoolin when I was young but I did watch the history of helicopters which I used to be fascinated with. Did you know the first quadcopter was invented in 1920? Btw vortix be warned that the motors and props combination you are using is potentially very dangerous, we...

Quad Wont get off the Ground, Topples to The Side

Yeah I'm no computer scientist but you can't just send equal amounts of power to each motor and expect equal amounts of thrust all around. The slightest deviation of anything in any of the motors will cause the quad to flip and crash on takeoff.

    FPV VTOL X520

6g mode=angle/horizon mode on a quad. 3d mode=spooled up heli/quad in acro mode. I've had some toys that we're similar. Probably get into wings eventually, long distance on a wing sounds awesome.

What size motors for 115mm frame?

No experience with that flight controller but for that size frame you will need a FC with 20x20mm bolt hole spacing. I haven't actually tried it yet but the mamba has good reviews:

What size motors for 115mm frame?

Motors in the 7500kv range for that frame. Tx (controller) look at the flysky fsI6x, it will come with a reciever for about $50.

What Have I Done! Need Advice!

Tell him to spend the money on a laptop, about the same price as a good drone and a cheap tx like flysky, get a simulator like freerider or velociodrone to learn the basic controls. Mention that you can't give him "any more drugs" until then lol.

On the 79 I think I just plugged it in and good to go. Haven't tried the 99 but I'm sure it will work just fine.

How do I start building my first drone?

Okay well when you find a list let us all know because usually I think around $300 US is normal for me now, just for the quad lol. The tyro99 is a beginner's kit, pure and simple.
