Are they easy to use for someone who has never edited a video in his life before? In other words, moi.

I realize it is worthwhile - but is it necessary? Editing can always improve anything, but can videos be viewed and shared without any editing? That's my question.

Using the new and improved micro chip mentioned in Post 21, above, and viewing the video from my hard drive, rather than from the micro chip itself, it is actually much "jerkier" than before. WTF?

My computer is a couple of years old - maybe three tops. It seems to hold up OK in most respects. I haven't set the MOV/MP4 settings yet. I'll give 'em a look.

The readings showed good, so I figured that was good enough and flew it. Did fine.

So that means that even though I am using a 4K micro chip, I can still set my setting to film at some lesser level?

I am getting a 4K microchip. Does that mean I MUST film in 4K? Or can I downgrade my settings a bit and still use the 4K chip?
