How to fly like a PRO

Also lots of "trick guides" on youtube to learn a specific acrobatic move. Once you know enough tricks and can learn to tie them together then can focus more on your particular style and/or smoothing things out more and finding ways to transition from one trick to another while flying some path...

How to fly like a PRO

Fly angle mode line of sight at first so you can physically see how the quad is responding to input make sure you can fly line of sight in terms of keeping hover and even good to learn to figure 8 line of sight. This won't come super easily it takes a ton of practice. After you have line of...

Cannot get F11 4k Pro drone camera to video feed phone app

Yah so this might be partially Android to blame with some updates... I've noticed recently even on my home network if the actual internet drops out my phone will just disconnect from the wifi (probably in search of some wifi that has internet). You have to forcefully tell android to not...

    Eachine e58

Hard to say what's wrong on any proprietary system since there isn't really any mechanism exposed to the end user for debugging. Plus side cost of the quad is pretty small it looks like can scoop one for $60 but at that price would say price to replace is less than price to fix almost anything...

Smartphone wifi vs tablet wifi.... (both 2.4g wifi)

A 2.4GHz antenna will be roughly 28.8mm in either case only differences could be transmission power, filtering of the signal and extra interference it's dealing with but like you mentioned depends on device specifics and best way to know is to field test. For 5.8GHz signal the antenna will be...

Smartphone wifi vs tablet wifi.... (both 2.4g wifi)

It shouldn't matter much, the cell has more radios typically and so will be more noisy also more likely your hand or body blocks the antenna in any case think keeping the device around or a bit above head level even would help with reception and transmission.

    Nocci drc-4 f3 gps issues

Would check for any physical damage to the wires/connections though maybe something can just be resoldered down if just a wire popped loose (otherwise looking to eBay for parts probably)

    Nocci drc-4 f3 gps issues

With an oscilloscope that can decide uart signals you can get text dumps out from the tx pin after a GPS is powered up and sending data but still need to put the text through a parser (I found a few online that do it). There are a handful of different encodings and baud rates used by different...

    Nocci drc-4 f3 gps issues

Have a link to the quad unfortunately think cost of replacement gps and time probably outweighs replacing the whole thing.

    OT: Multi-rotor eVTOL thoughts

Some related things that might interest you: https://evtol.news/kitty-hawk-prototype/ https://wisk.aero/ Just dipping my toes into fixed wing for hobby things but there is definitely a big efficiency gain to using a big wing when it comes to flying distances too, looks like the "wisk aero"...

    OT: Multi-rotor eVTOL thoughts

No and sort of. No because close would mean we have a system that is safe enough for regular joe shmoe to jump in and control/trust which I don't think any of these systems have really had the flight time to say they are safe (look at flight time of various aircraft and/or spacecraft and...

    Charger help

Yup only need as many watts as you'll use for charging but I use this for charging some 5Ah 5S that I chain in series to make 10S for esk8. 5S * 4.2 = 22.5V if charging at say 5A that's 22.5V x 5A = 100W ish so need at least 100W if parallel charging them could go up to 10A and 200W. For...

    Charger help

If going to replace the connectors suggest as @holtneil mentioned too using XT-60 or XT-30 as they are pretty standard for all the off the shelf batteries you can buy, if you find ones that are roughly the same capacity and same cell count (voltage) then can generally just swap them out (the C...

SG906 Pro controller distance maxes at 999m

Betaflight OSD or iNav or other firmwares for quadcopter flight controllers that support GPS input can also show longer distances for sure so maybe just mixed up with one of those platforms/vids? If think not maybe dig up that vid and share it here can take a look.

    Charger help

@EDC_FORREST like @holtneil linked above can get "hobby grade charger" for charging lipo batteries for just about any RC thing if you're able to "adapt"/replace the plugs on things yourself. The keys to doing that safely are to make sure things are discharged or in the case of battery leads...

Drone went for a swim, NEED help is my ESC or motors broken?

Also you shouldn't expect to hear startup tones if either the ESCs or motors are burnt but again very unlikely to toast 4 motors at once but very likely to just toast 1 ESC from moisture or other stress. The tones actually come from the ESC twitching the motors at high frequency no speaker on...

Drone went for a swim, NEED help is my ESC or motors broken?

I'd put my money on burnt ESC. The esc is basically a bunch of MOSFETs which are like gates for current flow that are controlled by a voltage change (as opposed to "regular" transistors which are like gates/switches that are controlled by a current and can effectively amplify a signal/changing...

    FPV Noise white/black interference

I would also try double checking connection on your cap if it is bouncing around and not solid connection could hurt more than helps.
