FV-31 VTOL full flight and hover mode with M2p chase

Bah my comment accidentally got deleted because thought it was repeated.. anyhow that is awesome, thanks for sharing and editing together too, nice to see the whole process from the ground and some in the air from LOS/quad perspective plus FPV, nice mix up. Also VTOL is cool :D

Bad SJRC F114K PRO bought to Banggood

I'm not sure if they ship international or not but in the US there is RaceDayQuads.com and GetFPV.com for the hobbyist or acrobatic/race style quadcopters. For the more DJI style things I think sticking with genuine either new or used is a better option than going with the clones, but...

Bad SJRC F114K PRO bought to Banggood

Couldn't have said it better, find local hobby shops that stock things and know their gear or just default to Le ol' amazon :). Banggood only good as last ditch effort or if someone I really trust points me to some product I can only get there, shipping plus 0 customer support is reason enough...

Just cruising local park with a couple buddies

Ah think I was rocking like a hero 3 or something but is probably about ready for the antiques road show, the new ones don't seem too terribly priced as long as willing to not get absolute latest, maybe will scoop one version back.

Just cruising local park with a couple buddies

Thanks was a fun day of flying for sure, some random unexpected nature shots. I think going to have to see if I can revive my old go pro or get a new one too though, the DJI air unit is maybe 50/50 on if it saves a given recording so ones getting uploaded are just whatever wasn't corrupted :D

    Hello

Nice thanks for the update and ya I know skydio is pricey stuff at least the first release was way out of range for me, but I thought worth considering and maybe they had worked the price down some since know that was a goal when I was looking into them. DJI is mostly solid choice from what...

    Hello

Gotcha, yup from what I hear dji is a pretty solid choice if want stable camera platform in the air, I believe it can do some basic waypoint stuff though I may be wrong likely someone with dji experience will chime in on that. Regarding waypoint or autonomous flight, for automatic obstacle...

    Hello

Hiya John! Welcome to the forum/hobby, I don't think we have any beginners guide here really since everyone comes at it from various levels and with various desires out of it there isn't really a one size fits all way to bring people up to speed. There are broadly speaking 3 or 4 "classes" of...

    FLYSKY reciever

So this can work but isn't necessarily an ideal option for a quadcopter just because of size and extra pins broken out on it making it kinda clunky and most of that isn't needed for quadcopter control. These types of receivers with a output for each channel are usually used on fixed wing planes...

    Happymodel Larva X battery issue

You You should be able to control everything that shows up in osd using betaflight configurator to change the osd settings and leave everything else as is. It's possible the quad thinks it's a 3S if using 2S HV batteries so think you can change the expected voltage per cell and warnings as...

    Lost quad_battery concerns

Yah 300m with clear line of sight is a pretty safe bet but it largely depends what's between you and the quad or the TX and RX. Also if you have goggles can often just disconnect the antenna or just use a patch antenna and can home in on where a quad is based on where the video signal gets...

    Lost quad_battery concerns

Basically the battery should just drain out and if it's still hooked to the quad that should act as a pretty good drain until the MCU (chips) on there get below their low voltage cut off and just switch off, then it'll be a slow trickle down from about 2.5V to 0 but really at that point they...

    Lost quad_battery concerns

Hiya! Yup it happens, just FYI for future ones can setup "beeper" on a switch and so long as it doesn't huck the battery (strap it down good) then can flick the switch to make at least the motors beep. For bigger quads I use a vifly v2 buzzer with it's own little battery pack so even if my...

Tinyhawk 2 freestyle yaw not working

First thing I'd check is receiver tab see if the inputs appear to show up correctly also if your transmitter has some channel monitor view to see what is being sent as far as the tx is concerned can be helpful to check to make sure the yaw is affecting one of those values. Long story short you...

Tinyhawk 2 shaky then loses focus

Good advice above just adding if the ring is missing or not holding it in focus some bluetac reusable putty stuff would work and is just handy to have.

    Beast SG906 PRO advice

Apparently it was Portuguese I was also making guesses here :) This is for sure English mostly forum though so nice if people who aren't native speakers can google translate to English for the rest of us here.

    Beast SG906 PRO advice

For GPS to work it needs to get a lock on "enough" satellites for it to be able to accurately track the 3D position of the quadcopter, I believe most systems will require at least 6 or 8 satellites to consider it a "good" 3D position lock, if going to a new location it takes longer than repeated...
