Yet another newb.

Please be gentle.
Hello all.;)

Just taken delivery of a Syma X5C-1 as an upgrade from my little Ultra Drone X14.0 Assault.
Been flying for about 6 months or so, mainly indoors to be honest as the Ultra was a bit of a handful on windy days but I've been out today with the new arrival and I'm finding it much more capable in the wind.

Anyway, thanks for having me aboard, I'm looking forward to gleaning some knowledge.

The X5c-1 is a nice quad had mine a little over a week and a half now. I'm still in the learning stage but I am very happy with the way it flies. Now whether or not if I'll be able to see it at a distance remains to be seen.

Because of the up coming weather I bought a Blade Nano Qx 3D to hone my skills indoors. I can hover the x5c-1 inside but not much room for anything else.

Enjoy the forums and welcome aboard frequentflyer.

Welcome!

I have heard the x5c-1 are great quads. I have a x8c and I love it more every day. It was my first quad so at first I had some crazy experiences in the wind, but now I have become more used to expert mode and it handles wind really really well. It handles the wind a lot better than my Flying 3D X8. Even that being said, it's been insane windy here lately so I haven't been able to get out there at all. Still have my little CX-10 for indoors tho. Just 5 min of fun then back to the ground lol.
