Has anyone been to yucca flatts Nevada?
has any one flown their drones there and at ground zero?
of course yucca flats is the atomic blast test darning cold of the atomic age.
one could get a small radiological recording and attach it to the drone's landing struts
and photos and video about the blast site, there is nothing much there it was vaporized and blown away, if it was possible to use your to study areas but for your self gain

Dear Sir:
I'm Special Agent Elwood Gibbs of the CIA attachment to the Atomic Energy Commission.
Due to still-classified elements of National Security at this facility, I'm going to ask you to send me a case of Jack Daniels Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky under seperate cover.

Agent 179, CIA/AEC

I have no idea whether you are allowed to fly there or not, but it's not anywhere I'm getting near if I don't have to. Radioactivity might give superpowers in the comic books, but I don't think it works that way out here.

well there must be some radioactivity there radioisotope residue
I do think it be a good to get permission and use the photos and videos for self gain,
I been at place near lake marry on mountain very scenic views there and there was duplar radar there
if you want a chance to fly your drone there.
I took some photos of that area

I searched and from what I found, I suspect that public access is available only via tours: https://www.nnss.gov/pages/PublicAffairsOutreach/NNSStours.html
I could not find anything else about Yucca Flats in particular other than it is one of four test regions within the Nevada Test Site. Cameras and computers are prohibited on the tours, so I suspect that flying drones in the area would also be frowned upon. Still, it might not hurt to contact them directly and see what they say.
