xk x300 Drone

I have a question for you, I purchased the XK X300 w/FPV about 1 year ago one for me and one for my grandson, and I'm just now getting around to getting the guts to fly mine, I seem to be having an issue and was wondering if you could help me out, I have charged the drone and the Screen, however when I turn on the drone, then the transmitter and then the FPV screen I get no picture just static and lines about every 15 or 20 seconds, am I doing something wrong? Or is there a screen setting that needs to be adjusted? the camera works fine I've tested it, I just get nothing back to the screen except "NO SIGNAL" and help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

i don't know much about this I admit but I was always led to belive you turn the transmitter on first then the quad as for the fpv I have no experience there but is it wifi? if so you need to select the correct signal to connect to? if the camera works how did you test it? a phone? if so wifi hope this was some help

"the transmitter on first" is the normal convention.

I tested the camera by just hitting the camera long press and it starts recording to the Mini SD card and then I just took the card out and put it in an
adapter and watched it on my computer, but I never got a LIVE signal back to the FPV screen???
That's what my issue is, it takes great movies and great stills I just can't use the Screen while sitting still or flying, not signal back to the screen.

WiFi comes in 2 flavors actually.

2.4 and 5 GHZ

From the interweb.................

The primary differences between the 2.4 GHz and 5GHz wireless frequencies are range and bandwidth. 5GHz provides faster data rates at a shorter distance, whereas 2.4GHz offers coverage for farther distances, but may perform at slower speeds. ... Higher frequencies allow faster transmission of data, also known as bandwidth. And 2.4 is older and more crowded.

Of course this does not help the OP.:(

It's the 5GHZ, and I do appreciate you input, But it's still not working, I think it's just messed up.....

Just a thought. Your grandson has the same quad???
IF so. Have you checked your procedure with what he does???
Or you could swap components and see what that tells you.
Good luck
