Hello and thanks for letting me join in. Been around rc's awhile-still consider myself a rookie-crash all the time!! Need some help on the XHeli c17 multi-rotor. After binding no motor movement at all, no rotation no response from the xmitter. Anybody have one of these-no directions, schematics, no tech support at all. would really like to see this thing fly-getting frustrated!

yes no luck there I'm used to motors, servos do a little movement after binding then your ready- seems like all six speed controllers-moters are not receiving any input-volt meter at the controller leads shows no voltage any ideas??

Hi mate dont get confused normally only one esc will have power out on its red lead on servo plug ( middle lead is live) this powers the FCB and receiver , the rest only use earth and signal
Have you calibrated the ESCs if not all you need to do is remove props then in the transmitter on throttle curve 0,25,50,75,100 then restart transmitter put on full throttle power up quad the escs will bleep then put to zero throttle and it will bleep again thats it all done
This works on most FCB if not we need to know what one is fitted so I can let you know how to calibrate

Cheers mate, thanks for the reply -no help= the FCB blinks red/blue so I know its powered-unknown manufacture of the FCB= have removed and can find no markings for MFG. Have googled the numbers on the unit but no joy. Its an ARF XHELI C17. no instructions no tech support. going to order a new FCB-you choice would be??????

Hi mate if its the one I just look at it has the ardupilot mega v2 fitted to it ,if I wanted a really good board I would get the the full blown Naza M with GPS but it does not do way points , here is a link for the board your ment to have if it is this one we may find a manual for it
