If it ain't broke, don't fix it??? You kidding?
Quick launch, lost sight of it, by the time I see it again, I've lost orientation. Give it a bit of forward and............Tree! Get the 12ga. but got to close to it. 2 props not turning, camera is kaput. 2 props with multiple birdshot holes, part of one is gone............not a good flying day today...................oh, had a visitor up there..........at 0:15sec.

 
Oh oh.....that tree needs to come down.

I do Bill.................I'm just glad it wasn't an expensive AP platform. You know somebody has done similar or worse with a thousand dollar machine..............

As for fixable............yeah, it's all fixable. I just don't know what needs fixing until I open it up. Oh, when you shake it, you can hear the birdshot inside.

Still trying to fix it. It flies just no gimbal.

OK I got to ask..... You mentioned the shotgun several times. I could not for the life of me figure out what you were doing with it. You use it to shoot the drone out of the tree???

Was actually shooting the branch that the drone was hung up on. But this time I couldn't get close enough to hit the branch I wanted without the shot spreading and a few getting my bird. But I openned it up this morning...........the board was untouched. Tomorrow I'll test my motors. My camera...............3 birdshot..........it lights up red but won't go to green............
 
Ahhhh.....You can borrow my Mini-14 next time........30 round clip......fast errr trigger pull......hahaa

I actually went a more quite approach when I treed my Tarantula about 30 feet. I took 3 sections of 1/2 inch PVC pipe. Coupled then together and slipped it up into the branches. It wobbles a lot, but the tree itself holds it up. After a few minutes of cursing....PLOP HAhah
