Will this work?

difference to the set of the quad and and how it flies , this would be better

Not a good choice Neil, no failsafes, spotty range and no 3 way switch.

This blows it away for less money.

If the Taranis is over your budget, this 10ch FS is a superb value. it has two 3way switches, full failsafes and built in telemetry to show your pack voltage. It has been field tested to a 2.2k range.

Hi mate welcome to the forum , its all good till the receiver and transmitter these will be the weak link , try and get some thing better that you can use on all the quads you build ( you will have more than one trust me) A good transmitter will make a big difference to the set of the quad and and how it flies , this would be better

Nice, I'll rethink the receiver and transmitter then! Just out of curiosity, what would happen if I did use the receiver and transmitter that I was going to use.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be sure to get one of these.

Your better off getting what Jackson linked to glad he chipped in I could not think of which flysky is best for money
If you go cheap on the transmitter you cant do any adjustments in the transmitter so all adjustments has to be done on the FCB which can be hard and confusing , also the cheap transmitters can have gimbals that are not good so the quad becomes unstable and hard to fly ( buy cheap buy twice ) true done it my self

... (FS-I6) "This radio system uses a high gain and high quality multi directional antenna" ... roflmao ... never thought of a snub of wire that way myself ...
Still a good radio choice for the price though

... ... Cross polarized twin sleeved dipoles ?!! ... Dayaaam, I had no idea ! ... Thanks for the correction Jackson :)
