Will not take off straight up.

Hello all,
First post, and first quad. Completely new to the scene, and could use some help. During take off the quad always wants to go forward and to the left. As shown in linked video. I have actually gone as far as using a precision level to ensure my quad was level when I calibrated my accels. During flight i have to constantly fight it to stay in position. I did calibrate and re-calibrate the ESC's.

Any input would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jason

Hi mate I know you say its sorted but when you set up the first time did you go into monitor screen of the KK and set all to read zero( not aux it will always read above or below its a switch) you must do this before you calibrate gyros and acc , if not it will be like trying to fly with the right stick held off center , so pop in to monitor screen and see what your getting on elev rudder etc, if they are not zero then you need to sub trim these to read zero then re-calibrate and then you can lower the self level settings if you want , but this need to be right if you want to fly acro with the quad off self level mode

Thank you Holtneil. I checked as you suggested. pitch and roll were off by 1. I made the correction, and re calibrated. Appears to be working well (in the hotel room) I will test it today if the wind is down some. Thank you again.

Glad it sounds sorted sorry was not about was helicopter thrashing for 4 days , wife was trying to catch it on video with her Phantom
