what is the difference between these two?

These are two very different motors. The kV rating is the main spec you want to look at - and it really depends on your application as far as which motor to pick goes. What size quad are you building? What is your goal when it comes to flight performance? Are you looking for something more stable or more acrobatic?

You definitely want the lower kV motors then, with bigger props: 10-11 inch props..
