which goggles should i get next?

i'm ready to upgrade from my ghetto goggles (quanum v2) - kinda want something like the fatsharks, more glasses style because I hear they are more immersive, though can't spend 350$!! Are there anything else that come close that you guys can recommend?

Looks like all those "glasses style" goggles are 300$+ though, i see you can get teleporters for about 200, but i remember people saying not to get teleporters? are teleporters good? or why should people avoid them?

otherwise i may just get a dual diversity reciever for my quanum and add a flat panel antenna, i just wish i could make them more comfortable!! :/
 
fatshark sells an older version of their goggles for around 200 bucks.

if you plan on sticking with it, i would recommend spending your money here on goggles. They will be with you for a long time and through many quads. Even more so than a transmitter. One of the advantages with the fatshark is the number of add on's you can get for it. Single antenna, duplex antenna, headtracker, parts if it breaks and a standard of quality. Not high quality, but a standard quality that makes them serviceable.

That said, i personally feel the fatshark goggles are way over priced. Problem is no one has anything as versatile. Certainly no point in getting the HD version until HD transmitters and camera's become mainstream and a lot cheaper. just my opinion. i have the dominators and while i think they could use some improvement, i have had no issues with mine for almost a year. They work every time i put them on. Thats gotta count for something.
