Considering you are not as rich as Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg and you need to save some money by not buying overprice drone but still considering whether is it worth it or not?
I have been looking around trying to compare the latest drone and seems like XiaoMi Drone worth buying considering the price. However Dji Mavic Pro also very good is just that the price is a little bit unfriendly.

Is there any other drone that you should buy considering of the price and quality? personally I think xiaomi drone save money and do the same job. I only need to capture my journey not to do Hollywood movies.

Depends on what type of flying you are interested in.

The dji phantoms are very good, and there are several that are cheaper than the Mavic, but I would get the Mavic if I were you.

If I wanted something strictly for AP, I'd go along the lines of a Phantom. For decent video, good flight time and still sporty and fun to fly, I'd seriously consider the TBS Discovery LR

To give you good recommendation we need to know your budget and your experience in flying...Getting a phantom even the cheapest $500 one might sound great but if you do not know how to fly it then that's a waste of money.

The best drone is the one you build yourself through research and planning. Then when it takes off for the first time...... well i wont spoil it for ya but its a great feeling! Good luck with it

Fair enough Gabriel. Another question for the OP is what do you want this drone to accomplish? Just flying? Or do you want to get into aerial video recording? Fpv? Tell us some more about your intentions. Theres a plethora of options out there. If you just wanna fly something cheap to get some practice in just hit up Amazon and see whats there. You surely want to get fairly adept at flying before you spend big money. Hope this helps.

Through trial and error I found that for me the very best beginners quadcopter is the Syma X5C-1. At around $50 you don't break the bank replacing it and the flight characteristics are superb. One day I hope to move upward to the Phantom quality quad but imo it is way to expensive as a beginners drone. It is so easy to watch the great Phantom Quad videos and want one but if you are inexperienced probably not the smartest choice. Unless money is no object. LOL The X5C-1 will provide lots of thrills and fun for beginners. I found that flying a drone is a lot like patting our head and rubbing hour belly at the same time. LOL Practice makes perfect and the X5C-1 is a very forgiving quad.

I think any frame you design yourself is the best frame. Check out www.cncmadness.com and we can custom build you a frame or if you have the ability to provide the drawings then all we have to do it cut it out for you. Choose from a variety of materials. We even stock the hardware to help compete the build.

So far the only real pro i spot in the mavic is its portability. The camera is suspect (for me) I do 1080p 60 fps all the time and the mavic does it poorly
