I'm looking to buy a bigger quad than my X4, I would like to be able to film bmx racing on the quadcopter but I don't know what's the best quad to buy? Help…

Hmm, what type of camera do you want to hold, and will you have someone who can film for you. Also the biggest thing is your budget.

There are quadcopters that will follow the subject, and many have other functions like circling the moving object.

Depends which you get and how you will use them. So you don't need quite GoPro quality, just good enough to post on youtube? The main problem with toy grade is that their motors don't last long even without crashes, a coreless motor will be lucky to get 7 hours of normal flying. I don't see any from WL toys that look ideal. There are some knock offs of these, and here is a cheaper version. IF at all possible you probably should go to a hobby grade as these break and are not upgradable.
