What should I do for my first ever racing drone?

I have had a few drone in the past. I have had a very small one that was very cheap and broke, I then got a bigger drone, but is was also very very cheap so it broke too. I want a nice drone that i can have lots of fun with, and that can take the abuse of me. I would like to get into FPV also. This is going to be for Christmas most likely so i would like to get it on a small budget. I do not want any thing over maybe 350, but It would be nice not to go that high.Thanks
 
Build your own, if you keep breaking them, then learn how to keep fixing them. It's easy, only a matter of deduction which part is broke. RC MODEL REVIEWS on YouTube will show you. That were I learnt.
 
There are many very good ready to fly (RTF) models out there these days at very attractive prices. Eachine has been upping their game with each new release. With a very large fan base that can answer any question including repairs, mods and tweaking.

i have wanted to build it my self, but i just dont know much about the specs and how much you can trust them.
 
Pick a decent frame, middle of the range ESC's & cheap motors till you feel confident enough or you can get through a few battery's without crashing. There is plenty of info on here we will all help. It's better than waiting for a quad to come back from a shop. And besides 350 you could build 2 decent quads with that.
Enough for a learner anyway. Fly one fix one. Checkout RC MODEL REVIEWS on YouTube for a basic sport model. If I can do it sheesh, left school with Jack.
But you can teach an old dog new tricks. I'm 41 & now my dad is getting into it after I built him one. He lives abt 30 mile away, it was a pain both of us having drive that just to calibrate the ESC's or different things but he picked it up. He doesn't graft anymore but still got a roofing business and he takes it out to look @ certain jobs. Seriously if you getting in this hobby it's sensible to do it yoself unless you not sensible with money or time. Buy what you need & 1 extra. I dare you.
