Well did you fly today post videos here

Did another brain transplant for the BabyHawk R brain into a 3" alien style frame and replaced the stock VTX with an RDQ Mach 2. This is the maiden flight since the operation and also the first flight with my new FrSky X-Lite.

I was testing both the range at 25mW and an AXII stubby I put on my box goggles and was reaching around 300 feet, even behind me with the house/garage between and no signal drop.

I was surprised it didn't hit the ground, but managed to hover. It was in "ATTI" mode now, and I wondered if I should land and go get or try to fly it back. I couldn't tell what direction it was pointing, so I decided to go up to be over the trees. It switched back to GPS mode, so I mashed the return-to-home button. When it was clearly coming back to me, I cancelled RTH and flew it down to my hand.

Burned up 3 batteries practicing and confidence building.

There is about 29 minutes of orbits and goofing around. That would be boring, so here is a 3 minute video.

Last month I gifted my son a dji phantom aerial uav drone for this christmas..Look what he had done with it...

Morning flight behind my home. This is my most recent flight with my Tarot 650 Iron Man. I've had problems with significant jello effect due to vibration. I did my best to balance the 17" Tarot props but have not tried to balance the motors as I can't figure out how to safely remove the little "e"clip on the spindle in order to remove the outer housing.

My latest attempt to minimize vibration was to stiff a tiny bit of cotton in each of the rubber ball vibration dampeners on the gimbal and to add a bit of foam around the gimbal as well. I substantially removed a lot of the vibration to the gimbal but there is still a little bit of jello effect - I think that this is the best I can do.
