Well did you fly today post videos here

It was just over 15,000ft (2.9 miles). Had to override it wanting to RTH. Still landed with over 30% battery as I was flying into the wind on the way out to give a safety margin for the return. Was flying at full speed with the wind behind me - hence overtaking the cars!

What were you flying? I have just started with this whole drone thing.
 
The long range one was done with a Phantom 3 Advanced with some long range antennas from fpvlr.com on the transmitter. By the way I'm 10 years older than you!
 
Ordered an FPV camera for my Syma X5SC, so until it arrives I've been practicing indoor flight. Still got a lot of practice to do before I become truly competent!

I think I could best be described as a novice pilot at this point, but heck, I've been enjoying it! As a side note, my Syma can take a heck of a beating and keep going... quite impressed with that!

 
Been having some rough sessions lately lol. My shuriken x1 is temporarily grounded, so i flew the vortex 250 today. Going to start PID tuning this one as the X1 feels so much better to me right otb.
