Looks like $899 (USD) now.... think you were being a bit sarcastic, but honestly that is pretty cheap for what this is, the last open source sub project I saw I think was about 4k in parts and self assembly. Video didn't show the nicest place to dive but cool to see the UI and product in real world use.
