Walkera QR X350 & Devo F7 TX

Hi Folks,
Bit of help & advice needed hear. I'm new to Quad flying and have purchased a QR X350 with an F7 TX,
My problem is the FPV screen is to small and is very poor in sunlight. My friend has a Phantom and uses his iPad or Samsung S4 mobile phone, which also displays a great deal more info including battery life remaining, which on the QR is abysmal,
Is there an App I can download for my QR X350 so that I can also use my iPad, and if so is there anything else that I would need to purchase apart from the mounts?
I await a response with some trepidation.

I'm just guessing but your friend is probably using a camera/system with WiFI output to mate to a phone. Yours is probably using the standard 5.8Gh FPV band.

Thanks for the reply. Your guess may well be correct, does this mean I am not able to operate a similar system? I have looked on eBay and you can buy phone and iPad holders for the Walkera F7 Tx, which would indicate others have the same issue.
