Vortex 285 problems

Hey guys....FNG here. I'm new to the quad scene and need some help. My Vortex285 took a dump and I had to replace a motor.....no problem.....easy fix. After repair, the aircraft flies funny. 3 of the 4 motors spool up great. One seems a little lack luster...almost like the esc has told it to slow down. The motor in question is not the replacement....it runs fine. OK....history time. The quad was a donated gift from a friend....sure it was used but well taken care of. 2. I bound my Taranis and did the calibration WITHOUT any fpv gear (hasn't come in yet) and it flew flawlessly. 3. Problem only happened after motor replacement...and it's not that motor that's acting up. Any suggestions would help. I work offshore so I'm home on rotation and really want to get it back in the air before I go back to work. Thanx guys.

Don't have a computer to recalibrate the escs either. lol. I guess I'm just screwed till my buddy can look at it. he's a professional drone pilot for an inspection company and on a 30 day rotation. he's the one who got me into this hobby and I've been cursing him ever since. lol. but in a good way.

You don't need a 'puter! Very simple:

Without your quad powered up, turn on your transmitter and move your throttle stick all the way up to full throttle
Plug in your battery to power up your quad (Don't worry, motors won't spin up)
When ESCs are done singing their tune, quickly move your throttle stick back down all the way to low throttle
ESCs will sing another tune and BOOM you're done

Should work but if not, yeah it's nice to know someone who's a profession as a backup

Didn't work. Oh well. Quad spools up nicely and throttles up OK....but at half throttle if I push to yaw, even a little bit...it really comes alive. Could be an endpoint problem, wrong calibration or escs are just going bad. Not really sure. Like I said.....REALLY NEW at this.lol

OK.....finally got my goggles in and did the tx set up wizard how it was supposed to be done. Put my goggles on and tried to fly....quad still acts up and seems to not be getting any power to the left side (quad facing away) until I give it a little bit of yaw....then it takes off for about a second. It lifts off the ground about a foot then hits the ground just to repeat the whole loop again until I back off of the yaw. If I yaw left, quad yaws left. Yaw right, quad yaws left SLOWLY. When I first got this quad if flew flawlessly until some concrete took out a motor mount...due to that motor failing. I replaced the motor and the mount (with badass aluminum ones) and have had problems ever since. Quad gods please help poor old stupid me!
