VIFLY released a new drone buzzer with a built-in battery that can give power to the buzzer. The buzzer can still beep even after the FPV quad battery has been ejected or out of power.

In comparison with the old version, the new VIFLY Finder 2 comes with a light sensor which can detect light intensity and smartly control the LED to flash. The buzzer will automatically start to blink and beep loudly in the dark once the quad crashes. And it is programmed to connect a receiver to support RC airplane.

So the racer can find the lost drone easily based on light signals and beep alarm.

Here is the introducing video:

Normally, I fly for more than 500 meters away from me. I have experience flyaways before where I found my drone almost 1km away from me. I found it using a GPS tracking device. So thus this one can help me locate my drone if it flew 1km away from me?

If it is 1KM away, I don't think it can help you though most of FPV racing drone pilots may not fly so far. But if you have a GPS locator that can provide you a draft location, and with the sound help, I believe you will not lose your drone any more.
