Using 2x2s as a 4s and making it act as a 3s

I am an ex rc car person getting into quadcopters. My plan is to use my old 2s car batteries in series. They are rather large 5000mah 30c batteries. My copter is 450 and has 1045 props on 980kv motors. Can i use dual rates and expos to make it less powerful, like a 3s battery? Also, will i experience a considerable amount of power draw because of the extra weight? I don't want to overload it...

If you can get/make a light frame this may not be a problem, I would just plan the build for 4S, as it cost pretty much the same, just get ESCs and motors that are rated to handle 4s lipos. You may need to get 11'' props if your motors have enough torque to handle them. I am lifting 3 pounds easily with 1240kv & 9x4.7 props.

Save your yourself a whole lot of trouble, just bite the bullet and buy some new 3S batteries.
