I think I heard he did a while ago I saw a vid of a gut same setup in the usa racing a jet ski on a lake or rather over a lake

My wife told me that it was reported on the local news in Detroit, MI. that the guy actually made it across the Channel with one refueling. He landed on a boat then refueled and continued the flight. "Landed on a boat?". I guess mid-air refueling was not an option.
