Universal 2.4ghz transmitter

You would need a multi-protocol module like the iRangeX for this radio and it still wouldn't work on all drones.

However, unless you plan on getting a dozen different toy grade drones, you should decide on what radio you want (FRSKY, FLYSKY, SPEKTRUM) and equip your drone with the same brand of receiver. If you do want a radio that will work with a LOT of different drones though, the Jumper would be my first pick.

2.4 GHz is just the base frequency all channels are some range of frequencies apart like 2.400 GHz to 2.4006 GHz might be channel one but like reonov8r said if the protocol or message format and encoding for transmission and receiving is proprietary. Even within the spektrum line there is some DSM2 and some DSMX (says backwards/forward compatible i believe but have had issues myself with it, so best to stick all to one brand and protocol.

Could someone who operates the forum upgrade this god awful input box it is always selecting random words to tye when i hit backspace on mobile... So annoying a plain textarea would work fine images do not need to be inline.

PS I'm a web dev by trade i can fix this please let me :)

Must be something else, rather than the input box, I do not experience the same problems you've described. Could be the computer, could be the browser, could be the ISP protocols. I am using a PC with a P7 Core Processor, running Google Chrome on Yahoo! I also type three fingered and get lots of errors from typing that way. I just live with that poor level of dexterity.

Oh yah it's fine on desktop but on phone or tablet with the on screen keyboard it just seems to glitch out occasionally especially when trying to edit something or delete.... I suppose it could just be the Amazon HD10 virtual keyboard will have to do more testing to see though... Either way rich text input for forum posts like these seem a little silly. Makes sense for document editing or wiki pages where you want more formatting control but markdown or plain text would be fine here.

Will note I typed this on my phone and seems okay right now.

Sweet I found a solution in the top right of the editor box here the little document with a wrench over it apparently means show plain text area and hides all the "rich" controls in that mode it works fine on my tablet. Also seems it doesn't happen on my phone so guess it depends on the device.

As Renov8r said, just purchase a good, reliable tx (something like the Flysky fs-i6) and a bunch of receivers and stick to them. The problem is that one brand of tx doesn't usually have the same type of communication with the rx, even if it is at 2.4GHz.
