Udi U842 video won't play

Hello, I am new to this forum and new to the hobby. My daughter gave me a UDI U842 which I have flown all of four times so far. This model has a camera with a TF card. After the first flight, I plugged the card into my computer (comes with a little thumb drive style holder that plugs into a USB port) and was able to play the two videos I recorded on Windows Media Player without doing anything but hitting the play button. After viewing I copied the videos to my external hard drive because my C drive doesn't have much space. I then deleted the videos ( actually the folder with the videos that from the C drive.
The second time I used it I plugged the card into my computer as before but this time the video won't play. It shows two videos in the folder which is correct (I took two videos on the second flight), but when I try to play them it comes back with this message

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

I tried real player also but it wouldn't play there either.

Is it possible that I deleted something from the TF card when I deleted the folder from my screen?

The help screen talks about a possible "codec" problem. I have no idea what the codec would be for this camera.

"Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted."
Try to copy/paste the suspect files to your HDD.

I just realized that the error message I posted above was not the correct message. I thought I had edited my post but apparently I messed that up. I just changed it. This is the message I get when the video won't play.

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

Sorry for the bad information.

Just tried it. It copied but won't play. Still get this error message.

I got it to play. I downloaded the K Lite codec pack and their media player and it works on their. The sound doesn't match the video but that doesn't bother me. I suspect that when I deleted the initial videos I deleted the codec too. Thanks for your time Jackson.
