First post, great forum!! I'm looking for a FPV quad for a brand new, adult flier. This is going to be a gift, so I'm guessing as to what he may be interested in.
It appears the U818A platform is very easy to fly compared to some of the other models with FPV. It also allows the use of his cell phone, which I thought for a future upgrade, grab a pair of VR Goggles if he likes flying this quad.
A few questions:
Also, I am familiar with white-labeling, but I wonder if you guys are aware of any differences between the two models below? The price difference is pretty steep and considering that I'm also new to quads, I'm not familiar with either ToyThrill or DBPower. Is it possible the less expensive ToyThrill version is an older model or made with inferior parts (i.e. motors, batteries, etc)?

A few questions:
- Thoughts from anybody that has flown the U818A? The reviews on Amazon are extremely positive, this is the only thing I have to go by.
- Any other FPV's you'd recommend for outdoor flying for a newbie?
