Tuning tutorials / videos ?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has links to useful tuning videos and/or tutorials ? Maybe an idea to set up a sticky with some on it ?

For a beginner like me, it's probably the most daunting area. I've not really had a try yet, though I did notice that my quad would lose height if I pitched hard, so I increased my i-gains a bit and the height dampening a bit and that made it a bit better. Would like to tune it up rigorously though.

There are some about for the KK but most work the same way, the best way to tune is do one axis first reduce the I gain to zero, bring up the P gain till you get a fast wag then reduce by 5- 10 points till it stops , now bring up the I gain till you get a slow wag and reduce till it stops ( now say that was pitch we adjusted make fast snap forward then stop if it wags reduce P a little more ) Now most FCB link pitch and roll but if not put the same setting in the other axis then you should be good to go here is a video of what to look for when tuning
 
thanks - would the same apply for tuning the yaw, or does that generally not need doing ?

Any tips on the self-level p-gain, or on the height dampening ?
