Troublesooting Needed

Need help troubleshooting why my DIY drone is not working. Any suggestions are appreciate. This is the first drone that I have built.

I used an s500 frame. Pixhawk. I have connected and set up the quadcopter using Mission Planner. It recognizes the remote (when connected to Mission Planner) because it shows the pitch and yaw when calibrating the remote. I just cant get the motors to fire or the pixhawk to arm.

If I were to guess what I did wrong, you cant see. Underneath the electrical tape is shrinkwrapped where I connected the ESCs to motors. The ESCs came with the motors and unfortunately, the wires were not colored . So i just matched the ESC's left, center, right wires to the corresponding position to the motor. Maybe I did not connect it properly???

- This is the video of my drone starting up. Any help is much appreciated. Me and my 13yo son have been working on this for way too long. This is our first project.

Properly means the motors are spinning in the correct direction. You won't know if the wiring is correct till you get them spinning.

How about the throttle and roll?

Try turning on the TX first before powering the quad.

Can't tell what colors the LEDs are flashing, maybe this may be of help.

Jackson, thank you for your responses. I tried turning on the TX first, but that didn't help. Dang, would love an easy fix like that. Yes, Mission Planner recognizes the throttle and roll. The damn think won't arm.

Well ur vid isn't very good. When you actually used the proper arm procedure (down right) you were covering the FC's lights. Did they? Plus as far as I know you need to hold the stick right for at least 5 seconds- you didn't.

Watch at least the first 2 vids in the series.
