I crashed my syma x7 into a tree earlier at the very top it wasn't that tool about 15m nut it has a lot braches so difficult to get too tried using 360 eversion to get it. it was wedged eventually a man who saw It happen but was on the phone climbed the tree (not tall enough yet to get to first branch) and managed to get it. now the only damage is on the feet for landing a support mis snapped makes no difference anyway though. lesson learned don't be overconfident around trees

one of mine impacted a tree so bad it knocked out one of the little white pinion gears. easy fix, and cheap, but had to wait a week for parts.
worse was that it fell out of the tree into a puddle. I dried it good and it works okay.
at least you recovered yours. My first unit is still in a tree behind my house (and probly will be forever)

My first drone landed in a tree too, I was flying way to high and it was pretty dark. It went over a house and I lost sight of it, after checking a tree I saw some LED's flashing. I wanted to come back the next day with a ladder but it was gone by then. I think someone was so nice to take it.

what really sux is that they probly have no idea about getting a controller or charger and the thing will be a useless toy/decoration until pitched. after losing mine I put out a reward poster ($10, no questions asked), no luck.
