Throttle problems NightHawk 200

Hi. This is my first build on the Emax NightHawk 200. I've got everything all put together, bound my receiver to my transmitter: Graupner GR-12L to my Graupner HOTT MZ-24. Configured everything using CleanFlight. At first when I set everything up, the ESCs were not responding, replaced those with new ones and re-configured everything in CleanFlight. For some reason, when I arm and raise throttle, none of the motors turn on. If I use the Master switch in Cleanflight they turn on, but not when I arm and raise the throttle on my transmitter. I've replaced the receiver and transmitter to a Futuba R2008SB and Futuba T8J tramsitter and still having the same problem. Please help, a little new at this, have followed many youtube videos, but nothing seems to work. Anything is appreciated!

Well I'd first suggest that you sto[p replacing parts until you are at 95% sure that is the problem. I hear it is cheaper :P

it sounds like you don't have the radio setup with the aux channel for the arming and switch or you have not set it up in cleanflight.

I've got the aux switches set up in CleanFlight and the seem to work when I move them back and forth. I've got the ranges set up to show if the switch is activated or not. They correspond to switches and auxes I've set up on my transmitter. When I turn the arm switch on, and throttle up nothing seems to happen, none of the motors turn on.

When you're in the receiver tab of Cleanflight, does it show as responding to the stick movements of your transmitter?

Yup. Everything moves. I've even reversed channels 2 and 4 on my transmitter because they were going the wrong way on Cleanflight. Once I reversed those, everything responds on Cleanflight when I move all the sticks.

So it sounds like everything is good, just not arming. All your trims should be at 100% except channel 3 (throttle) try 125. Also, did you set up your min & max throttle and mincommand properly in the CLI?

From the flight controller. I have the corresponding wires for each number going into the same number on the receiver.
There are 2 basic scenarios as far as the Channel Map. AETR1234 or TEAR1234. Which are you and is it correct for your RX??

I have not set up min & max throttle and mincommand in CLI. How would I do that, and any pointers at what values should be?

On Channel Map, I used TEAR1234 with my Graupner MZ-24, and when I switched to my Futuba receiver and transmitter I updated the settings to AETR1234. Currently I have my Futuba receiver connected, since I'm more used to it. I just bought the Graupner and it is a little foreign to me.

These are my settings

  1. set min_throttle = 1145
  2. set max_throttle = 1900
  3. set min_command = 1000

  1. Please note that if min throttle is a lesser value than mincommand, your quad will not arm
