Terminology explained

Hi,

I am doing research into quadcopters before taking the plunge to get one myself, thinking of the DJI F550 as a starting point.

From all the reading and watching I am still struggling with the terminology and component names. Can anyone point me towards videos or articles explaining these in more detail.

It is mainly the terminology during construction of drones.

The other question on my list is tools, any suggestions? I've got a multimeter, soldering iron, various alan tools etc and wire cutters, anything else that would be worth getting?

Hi mate ,heat shrink , torx drivers, craft knife , blade balancer ( prop type) tin of clear lacquer , when you balance the props instead of sanding the heavy side just spray clear lacquer on the light side till its balanced , blue lock tight
