I asked Airmap for authorization to fly 50 ft high and photograph my new habitat.

Airmap said, "YOU MUST BE CRAZY!"

That's not news, but I took that as a "No." Yea, Bartlesville Municipal is right over there.

50 feet man you better look out for low flying planes where do you live? at the end of the runway?

I wasn't hot on this habitat being so close to the airport, but it met other criteria.

Rejected before I even finished entering all the details.

I might try putting 20 ft for the altitude.

So, why so close to an airport? Is your drone that big that it needs clearance from the tower to taxi and takeoff? Since you live in Oklahoma, I would think that you could find a better place as a habitat for launching your drones.

Well... Proximity to an airport wasn't a criteria I was looking for.
