Tarot 650 Landing Skids

I was sure this would happen... Today I crunched the right landing gear. It wasn't really my fault, rather I will blame it on cheap plastic parts. Anyways I was wondering if this landing gear setup would work with the Tarot 650?

I would think that there will be some drilling involved, but they would work. Are they high enough for a gimbal though?

I thought about those, but they still use that same plastic adapter piece. I feel like I would probably crunch them again, being new at this and all.

The legs in your link (first post) break with any even moderate landing. I broke mine the first flight. The bow shaped legs are just plastic - they should have been glass filled to make them stronger. There are many weak points on these. If you quad flies smooth and you always land gentle - you would be ok. But the gear you broke is probably much stronger than the ones in your link. Good luck with them if you buy!

Why dont you just upgrade to the aluminium T Joint?
