I recently bought a Syma X8c.... and couldn't be happier...I found an Orange X8C on amazon for 75 bucks and free shipping.....
I mounted a gimble assy to eliminate vibration. The factory black rubber dampers are way too stiff for most light weight cameras, so I replaced them with a set of DJI white silicone dampers, which are very soft.....and now I have been able to capture some great videos...
Here is one for all to enjoy..
Prop balancing is a must with these birds.....
also..a small brass washer placed under the prop retainer will also eliminate some prop shudder, and smooth out your videos.....
I have 2400 Mah batteries coming for longer flights...

I will post follow up's as I improve my system.....Enjoy

Good work. I few details (links) and pics would help many. Is that the stock little camera?
NO WAY.......The stock cam is junk.....This is an 8mp 1080p 60fps... no name...... off of an Ares Athos HD my brother broke the USB connection on the board....that meant I had to open the case, remove the original battery, solder on a power cord to use external battery, re-assamble and adapt to the Andoer gimble....the external battery acts as a counterweight on the gimble.
the down side is, that you start and stop video with the buttons on the camera, and cannot start and stop in flight....not really a problem considering the quality of the video...compared to the cost of zero dollars for the broken camera......Thanks to my Brother......

As for the details, and the links....I have detailed everything...every step....downfall is the site limitations for attachments so everything works better off of links, and not all of my work has been posted and has available links....but I am open to anyone emailing me and I will provide any and all help I can.....
and like I say..I have been flying for over 40 years.....anything is possible
