Was time to pull the trigger on the x8c so i did so not 2 minutes before this typing.

As with most any model i end up with ill do an X8 thread to show my personal findings and possible upgrades with the model.

The X8C will also be the base for my entry into the FPV world.
 
Im a bit disgruntled at how amazon is treating my order.

1.) It showed 8 items in stock.
2.) Once it was ordered i was never provided me with an estimated shipping date and it still doesnt show an estimated delivery date nor has it been shipped.
3.) I send an email to customer service and the rep says he is sorry for the delay and he will upgrade my shipping free of charge and the estimated date of delivery was nowmarch 5th.
4.) Still no delivery date shown..A charge of over $7.00 for delivery fee and my money taken from my account with still no quadcopter in hand...So i was actually charged for the shipping upgrade.

Amazon is not allowed to remove payment from an account until the item is ready for shipping in which a delivery date should be shown for said shipped item.

Waiting to see how they respond to my last email i sent them.
 
Well here we go...took some choice communication but got this tonight.
..i will finally be an X8C owner tuesday.

cool! ya i got my x5c-1 from amazon too, i wonder if it takes them longer cus of battery hazards or something? i have amazon prime and usually get 2 days shipping, when i ordered the x5c-1 it said "3-5 days for prime members" - it said it would come monday when i ordered thursday, but it didn't ship until sunday and it came tuesday. so i imagine it would take a bit longer for non prime shipping.
 
Well, so much for a 2 day priority delivery from amazon which they apparently used...was supposed to be here today and just got an email.." if it hasnt reached you by march 13th (which is a sunday and post office is closed)..so maybe the 14th..." contact us for a full refund or replacement.":mad:.Should have just ordered one from china, it would be here by now.haha..o_O...I can tell you this...they are going to get one nasty review from me... _|_ u amazon.

Most post offices now deliver Amazon packages on Sunday under a special deal with Amazon. I have gotten a few and I live in a small rural area.
 
My post office isnt open on sunday and my town only uses PO boxes..No delivery door to door for mail...so not even the post office would get it on a sunday to check in and, give me the big pink card in my regular PO box to take to the window and get the big box..haha...I just hope it shows up soon..I was pretty excited expecting to get it today as i was off work but oh well.
 
Call Amazon & complain. I have done so & they normally will discount the item (30-50%) for your inconvenience. Doesn't get it there any faster, but takes the disappointing edge off. This would only apply to Amazon shipped items.

Agreed. Especially since you are a Prime Member. Give them a call.
 
Im not a prime member....I placed my order and the money was taken from my bank account with no delivery date mentioned... I e-mailed them via amazon site to ask for a delivery date as they arent supposed to take your money until just before shipping...After 3 days of no delivery date after they took my money i got concerned.

One representative said he was sorry for the issue and offered to upgrade my shipping to standard shipping instead of the free shipping...Then i find that shipping amount taken from my bank account...I email them again asking them to refund any shippimg costs as it was offered as complimentary and can send the email to prove it.

I never got a response back but did finally get a date with an even better 2 day priority shipping but still no quad 4 days later.

Bottom line is someone took money they werent supposed to until the product was going to ship and a date could be provided....Also, money was taken from my account i never authorized and third im getting 2 day priority shipping that is going to take maybe 9 days or longer to get and, if i dont; call them for a refund or a replacement....Oh the joyful experience with amazon.

I ordered a prop balancer from amazon that was shipped from china that is now sitting in my P.O box 7 days after purchase..Dont ask me how but it is.
