Hello everybody.

Recently I was given the chance to test out one of the latest Syma quadcopters out there - the X5HC-1.

This great little guy costs less than $100, flies great inside or outside when there's little or no wind and it's a ton of fun!
I've been just doing flips and flying it around the park for the past couple of days. I'm amazed !

It feels nothing like the previous models, it generally flies a lot smoother and I have to say I really dig it.

I've made a complete review of this device and my full impressions of it, which you can see here

Please let me know what do you think about the quad, I want to know if others are as impressed as I am with it

Thanks !

Thanks for the review. I have one of these Syma models (X5HC)ordered. In fact, it should arrive any day now (saying that with a ;) as it's the usual wait from China).

Based on most of the online reviews I've read/seen, the altitude hold feature seems to generally work well. Some getting used to landing required as you point out. Did notice that these ship with a Syma proprietary battery plug. Have already found a few guys online doing mods to the plug end in the quad so they can use their pile of existing batteries. I may do the same once I get my hands on it.
