Because of the issue of my video camera not working I was sent a different transmitter to try. It appears to be the same transmitter and the video camera now works. The transmitter seems to be much more sensitive than the one that came with the x5c-1. The 1st one I used with the trims about neutral, the replacement I have to forward elevator about half way up and think I might need some in the left to right.

I did pull both sticks to the lower right hand corner till the odds stopped flashing to reset the quad, did this after I bound the x5c & transmitter. I'm turning it on with the x5c sitting on the floor so it shouldn't be a gyro thing. First thought was it was in the expert mood but it wasn'

This one looks just like the one that came with my x5c-1 except the led is green instead of blue.

I emailed Cheerwing we'll see what they have to say if anything.

Appears the are several versions of the circuit boards in the Syma X5C-1 this is what I found.

Green Led Power light v3 & v4 circuit boards
Blue Led Power light v6 circuit board.

The Blue led power light model will work with the v3, v4, & v6 circuit boards
The Green led power light model will only work with the v3 & v4 boards.

Contacted Cheerwing with this information and they are now sending me a Blue led power light model.

Hi, I am aware this is an old thread but this is the only one where I can find the description of a similar problem I have with my Syma X5. Could you please tell which board you have? I have PCB v6 and a transmitter with a blue LED and the problem is very same - I can't activate the camera. I have here written more details.
